Nowhere Like NOLA

Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve gone on trips to the Big Easy. Usually, they would coincide with St. Patricks Day and my family would march in Slidell’s parade. While we were in Louisiana we’d also go into New Orleans – an action that from the first trip left me infatuated with the city.  Recently, we’ve been going during Mardi Gras and just staying in the city. For me, it’s a dream come true. I love the food, the diversity, the atmosphere. Laissez Les Bons Temps Rouler!

“It has been said that a Scotchman has not seen the world until he has seen Edinburgh; and I think that I may say that an American has not seen the United States until he has seen Mardi-Gras in New Orleans.” — Mark Twain
